This is a great event for both corporate team building and a group of friends wanting a different type of activity for a weekend.
The goal is to sprint across the channel to Northern France in time to hit a traditional French restaurant for dinner and maybe the odd glass of wine. Then an overnight stay either on the boat or a local hotel before sprinting back across the channel the following morning.
This is a great way to get a feel for the boat in open water, get some of the big sails out and do some proper mileage in the boat.
The boat operates with a professional crew so the trip is ideal for everyone from total novices through to seasoned sailors who want more miles and their experience of big boat sailing. Crossing time is approximate 7 hours depending on weather so it’s two full days sailing and good meal.
